Six Paca Farm is located in southeastern Connecticut, only 2.5 miles from 1-395. The lush acreage and surrounding shade trees give the alpacas plenty of room to roam, yet provide entertainment for all of our farm visitors who come to watch.
Our hopes and dreams are for a self-sustaining farm. Six Paca Farm encompasses three locations. We expanded onto a former dairy farm approximately a half mile from our main location. An original post and beam barn was relocated to a 100 acre farm house site with new fencing and allows for more pasture rotation. At the original farm an adjacent house was converted into a store with classroom space, knitter's nook and coffee cafe. WiFi is available along with knitting and crocheting magazines and patterns to look through.
You are welcome to bring a knitting/crochet project and sit for a spell- all while watching the alpacas graze.
Thursdays from 11:00am - 3:00pm join our informal but fun knitting group. No charge.
Hours for our store are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays. July & August we are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
